Tom left us last Saturday for a river trip, so we made ourselves busy! We met some friends for breakfast at our local coffee shop and then walked down to the Children's Music Festival with some Stroller Strides friends. It was SUPER warm in the sun, so we didn't stay long- but were there long enough to play a little, dance a little, make some crafts & for Lily to cut in front of pretty much all of the lines that were there. I usually 'work' this festival for Stroller Strides, but was happy not to this year- all of the for-profit businesses were sequestered to the parking lot (no shade!), right next to the porta-potties. One other business-woman & I were talking after the event & she was pretty bummed by the very few people she got a chance to talk to. After naps, we went to a birthday part for my Stroller Strides instructor (my 1 employee!), Dara's, daughter. Busy day!!!
