Gigi's last day here was marked by a big rainstorm and the "Touch A Truck" event at City Hall. Basically the city drives one of all of it's big trucks into a parking lot, opens the doors & lets the kids go crazy. Lily was talking about it all week & when we got there- she was a little un-impressed. It may have been the kids honking all the super loud horns and turning the sirens on that was distracting her, but there were very few trucks she wanted to get in. But it was fun (maybe more so for Tom than anyone else) and she still talks about it. In fact when we saw an ambulance today at the park she asked if they were going to "get that yellow thing out" for the guy- meaning the stretcher she saw in there when she climbed (reluctantly) into the back of the ambulance at the Touch a Truck event. Pretty sharp..
