Stay classy San Diego

Our 4-day adventure was filled with a lot of daddy/daughter time for Tom & Lily and lots of learning for me. On Friday I went to the "Franchisee Intensive" workshop and learned a lot of cool things about running a business (hello tax write offs), marketing a business (lots of handing out flyers to random pregnant ladies & moms) and making Stroller Strides Flagstaff the best it can be. We were staying at "The Dana" which is where the instructor academy took place- it was pretty nice but so not worth the $$$ we paid, we both wished we just stayed at the tiki Best Western on Shelter Island.. Tom & Lily spent a lot of time over there on Friday- checking out boats, going to the beach & watching other people fish. I started my instructor training on Sat. and Tom & Lily did a Stroller Strides class with us- even Tom said it was hard! His abs were sore for a few days... Saturday night we headed to downtown SD, the 'gaslamp' quarter- with no real gaslamps & no place for ice cream!! (we had to go to Little Italy for that)- but we did find a good burger place with a fantastic beer selection. We wrapped up on Sunday & started the long drive home around 4pm..
