We left Flagstaff around 2ish on Thursday to begin our great trek to San Diego. Lily was great in the car while her parents took turns napping & looking at the scenery. It was H-O-T in Yuma- about 112 so we were only there to fill up gas (less that $4/gallon), eat some snacks & drink some water. Lily enjoyed driving while we were waiting for Tom to use the facilities.. Once we got into CA and were literally feet from the MX border we started seeing border patrol every mile which was different! We got to our tiki inspired Best Western by about 10 and Tom got to watch the tour for the 3rd time that day... Oh and did I mention Lily says "Hi" now.. next up sign language... :)
