A busy Saturday

A few weeks ago we started out our Saturday with a fun run to the park (something the kids & I like to do in the summer) and then headed downtown to eat from the food trucks that were in town as part of the Great Food Truck Race a show on the Food Network. The food was pretty good- but we missed the assignment of the 'secret ingredient' (cactus) and the Sunday challenge (vegan). After eating we headed to the Kite Festival- where we didn't fly kites, but we did jump in the bouncy house, do some crafts & ride the 'train'. A fun, but busy, day!
