Despite the amazing party and gift and cards I received on my bday this year, I was again suffering a little of the birthday blues- is that just what happens over 30? For me it had a lot to do with the fact that I didn't get a card or phone call from my brother who was always SO good about birthdays- no matter where he was or what he was doing. So, I decided to treat myself to a few of my favorite things- a nice bagel breakfast with the girls, an early morning run (not pushing the stroller) and a nice drive up Snowbowl road. I decided to stop at "aspen corner" for an impromptu little hike & we had a blast in the pretty leaves.
