In preparation for our visit to NYC later this month we've been talking to Lily about seeing dinosaurs at the museum- we realized the day after the wedding, that we didn't have to wait until NYC- there were dinos right down the block! So we headed to the Academy of Natural Sciences where we checked out the dinos, bugs & other animals. They have a really cool kids museum on the top floor that we spent a lot of time in (big kids & little kids alike). The old-school museum dioramas were a big hit too. To my amazement, the bug-hating Lily touched a hissing cockroach... I bet she just didn't realize it was a bug..
