It was a foggy ride to the island thanks to Hurricane Earl.
Amelia hated her life jacket & Lily was oddly scared of getting on the boat.

Going to Maine is one of my most favorite things to do. I've gone almost every summer my entire life and hope to, one day, be able to stay there for weeks, instead of days, like I did with my grandparents when I was little. I'd love to be there long enough to get my grandma's gardens going again, help Lily & Amelia build some sort of sketchy raft with debris from the boathouse and teach them how to catch hermit crabs.
