Last weekend Lily's friends Angus & Nash (and their mommies) loaded into the van (and we still had room for 1 more- love it!) and headed down to the Verde Valley Fair & Rodeo- a real fair in May! It was fantastic!
The best part was that the kids were really into it this year- the rides, the food, the animals etc. We went on a pony ride (a highlight of which was Nash's pony pooping right in front of Angus & Lily- they couldn't stop laughing at that), the petting zoo, a fun car ride and the food! Kettle corn, frybread & cotton candy, Oh My!
We went to watch the rodeo around 7 & the kids loved that too- they were really into the horsies & 'baby cows'. They didn't even seem to mind the fact that the cowboys manhandled the steers & calfs- dropping them to the ground before hog-tying them. Ahhhh cowboys...
