After a little surficial shoveling on Saturday and some great interpretive dances performed by Tom & Lily (she is breakdancing on the floor in these pictures) and some indecision on where to go xc ski or sled, we decided to run some errands & walk around downtown.
We ended up at an old grad-school breakfast favorite, Martannes, for the yummiest lunch we've had in awhile. Lily LOVED her well-priced & sized brunch. She even enjoyed waiting outside with Tom in the 'chairs' they built in the snowbank- and the icicles were a huge hit!
It was a bit of a relief to wake up to sunny skies & no new shoveling on Sunday, although I'm starting to miss the quiet and beauty of a serious snowstorm- so hopefully we'll get another one soon!
