Christmas!

good night hugs & kisses Christmas Eve

Our tree was almost buried by presents

Giving Jack a night-night kiss (the cute xmas jammies didn't survive the night)

Jack LOVED the the christmas eve lobsters

Lily was a bit skeptical of the lobsters, but eventually liked the seaweed.

So yes, Christmas was almost 1 month ago (like my last blog post), but here we go!
Our 1st Christmas in Flag wasn't exactly what we planned for & looked forward to for months. It started out great, nice tree, cute decorations, pretty snow, grammy & uncle baird coming to town & then it struck- the nasty stomach bug..
Tom was taken down around 2pm on Christmas Eve and spent the rest of the day & night communing with the toilet. Lily threw up in the middle of the night & then it was me- early Christmas Morning. We were all pretty recovered, but weak, by Christmas morning- I didn't get off the couch or eat all day and Tom & Lily fared a little better.
We did have fun opening the mountain of presents we received (THANK YOU!!!) and it actually took all day (and some help) for Lily to get through all of hers. Instead of skiing & a yummy gourmet dinner at a friend's house we watched movies and eventually ate chinese food that night.
It wasn't the Christmas of our dreams (are they ever?!), but it was memorable and it was awesome to see everyone & spend time together- which is really what it's all about.

The bag 'o' gifts was a big hit with Lily- at times, she had her whole body in there!

This camera is a new favorite!

Fun opening presents
