Journey to Peace, MX

Walking on the Malecon

Thankfully Tom had tres pesos

La Paz

Catchin' crabs

Not too sure about this crab thing....

Tom, Lily & I decided to hit the road & head north 2 hours to La Paz where friends of our from NAU spend a lot of time doing research. We had a great time on the drive- the interior mountains of Baja CA Sur are pretty awesome, arrived in the city of La Paz & walked around for a few hours eating helado (ice cream) and window shopping. We left the city & drove up the coast to some awesome, untouched beaches- we decided to stop at Playa Bandalero which is on a beautiful lagoon. We all had fun swimming & walking in the 1 foot clear water- Tom caught a crab that Lily was scared of & intrigued by (in equal parts). After some FRESH fish tacos we headed back to Los Cabos by way of the windy mountain roads. Tom & Lily slept while I drove through the cutest little villages. We got back to the house later than expected & missed dinner w/ Nana & Grandpa so we defrosted a pizza, swam, ate & hung out.
