We saw some BIG ole pigs
In Lily's opinion the $5 pony ride was worth every penny!
Their 1st solo ride was the Catepillar bulldozer ride
Labor Day marks the arrival of one of my favorite Flagstaff Weekends- the Coconino County Fair!
Tom, Lily & I rode our bikes out to the fairgrounds yesterday & met up with Stroller Strides friends Tracy & Angus. We all had a great time looking at the animals, riding on a Ilama-buggy, riding horseys, eating yummy fair-food (although I have to say- funnel cake really doesn't even compare to fried dough) and even riding on a ride- Lily & Angus went by themselves!
Tracy & the boys left Lily & I - and we went over to the demolition derby on our way home. Lily was asleep by the time it started & we only stayed for 1 race- but that was enough time for a cold beer, laughing with some friends, mullet-watching & seeing some awesome car crashing! The seats are nowhere near as close as they are at the NH state fair- but fun all the same!
We got home, no nap for Lily, washed the fair off us and went on to another Stroller Strides friend's 1st birthday. A fun day for all- Lily was in bed by 7:30 and I quickly followed at 8:30. Poor Tom was stuck at work until late- I don't even know what time he got home!
