I was definitely one of those no-kid women who thought, "my kid isn't going to be parked in front of dvds/tv all day" and while I still firmly believe that- I have started to see the beauty in 20min- 1/2 hour of Lily-in-front-of-the-tv time. It has taken FOREVER for Lily to even watch tv for more than 30 seconds, she just doesn't stop moving. She is finally starting to get a few favorite shows (which, thanks to the dvr we can record & save to watch anytime we need them) including, Yo Gabba Gabba!, Seasame Street (she LOVES the intr0), the theme song to Hogan's Heros and she is starting to like animated movies like Ratatouille and Shrek.In this picture she sat for 30 minutes watching Ratatouille and ate 2 apples on the couch like a big girl. I was so proud.
