Run for Life

As some of you may know our friends Brian & Megan lost their daughter Teagan to SIDS last August. They are running the 5k Run for Life in April, in memory of their daughter. Please help them reach their goal of raising $1,000 to benefit the American SIDS Institute. Click here to donate or learn more about running the race. Any donation is appreciated- nothing is too small. Thank you for helping to keep Teagan's memory alive.

Here is what they wrote about the event:
Our daughter, Teagan Clare was born on May 21, 2008 and died on August 29th 2008 of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. SIDS is the number one cause of death in infants between one month and one year of age. It is sudden and unexpected and even after an autopsy no cause of death is found. We have been trying to find some way to do something positive in Teagan’s name. We found the 5k Run For Life and knew that a race seemed to make the most sense. Please run, walk or donate to help us raise money for SIDS research in Memory of our Teagan Clare. Proceeds for this event will go to The American SIDS Institute, which is dedicated to the prevention of sudden infant death syndrome and the promotion of infant health through research, education and family.
This race is on April 18th in Williamstown, New Jersey. We realize this may not be the best time to support a fundraiser and that this race may be too far away for some of you so please don't feel obligated in any way. We just wanted to invite friends and family (especially all the runners) to join us in this effort.
If you are interested in making a donation in Teagan's name please go to our fundraiser page http://www.active.com/donate/NBD5K2009/Teagan. If you are interested in racing (or walking) you will need to go to the race's page to sign up (or sign up the day of the race). http://nbd5k.com/. (Even if you can't donate extra money in Teagan's name your race entry fee goes to support SIDS research too!)
Thank you!
Brian, Megan and Marykate
