Beef stew in a pumpkin! Since we didn't carve our homegrown pumpkins for Halloween I figured we should get as much use out of them as we could- the obvious answer is- cook stew in a pumpkin! So I did. I felt like quiet the homesteader- our pumpkin, our tomatoes, our zucchini.. We just need to grow potatoes & carrots next year, buy & slaughter a cow & everything will be grown by us! And of course the pumpkin seeds were yumm-0!
Another of Lily's favorite places is the front door- especially if anyone is outside that she can watch. In this picture she & Jack are keeping an eye on papa.
