saturn's day

Ahhh Saturday....Tom & I played hockey last night from 930-11pm and somehow futzed around the house until 2ish & as we were going to bed we noticed that Jack had a mean ole wound on his side from getting his butt kicked by the neighborhood bully "striker". So after some doggie first aid we finally got to bed around 3ish...just in time to wake up & go to Stroller Strides "family class".

Here I am gettin' ready to kick some dad butt. I think I succeeded as Tom is complaining about how sore he is...
Next, i thought about making some tomato sauce from the 1st round of picking...

But, I was pretty lazy today & spent 3 hours looking for bridesmaids shoes instead (didn't find any ARGH- probably karma for making my ladies buy red shoes- strappy shoes in Oct. at that).

Tom on the other hand was the master craftsman and made us a fantastic ski/boot rack in the basement! It looks awesome & he did it in about 6 hours- I'm super proud of him!!

And of course, the cute Lily shots.. Don't worry, Tom & I don't think you really care about our goings-on.. :) There were way too many cute ones to choose from...

She actually looks like me in this 1st picture. I swear there is a picture of me in the tub in Maine & I a)have reddish hair b)look like this.. :) Obviously, having a bath isn't that much fun in our house.. She enjoyed reading the book Pop Pop gave her in the bath & loves her ducks...
