the grass is always greener...
While Lily, Grammy & I were riding the roads of the 4 Corners area- Tom was hard at work here at the homestead- I just came across the photos of his weekend in our camera.. And no, there weren't any incriminating photos of girls & booze- just grass...
For those of you from the generation where 'grass' meant something else- I mean good ole kentucky blue (actually I don't know what type it is but I'm sure Tom will correct me). Our lovely friends Parke, Nick & Erin helped Tom lay down our new lawn- THANKS! I'm so so happy about it. No one can walk on it yet & Tom has a very extensive watering routine but I know it will be fabulous once we can use it & I can't wait.. Bocce anyone?? Note our new plum tree as well... And a sunset shot from tonight.. Again... imagine what I could do with a 'real' camera.. :) anyone catching the hint??? :)

ooooh, Erin told me about the grass-laying weekend. It looks fabulous! What looks most fabulous to my desert eyes, however, are the steely monsoon clouds in the background...oh how I miss summer thunderstorms!
