We got back Tues night from our version of "the amazing race". Grammy flew into town on Friday, helped hand out Stroller Strides flyers that night, Beth ran (or struggled through) a 10k Sat m
orning & then we were off to Boulder, CO by way of Mexican Hat, Four Corners, Telluride, Black Canyon of the Gunnison and a very scenic drive through the West Elk Rec. Area. When we got to Boulder Uncle Baird showed us around, we went shopping & out to a great dinner at an awesome brewery- $8 burger & beer night!! Our ride back Tuesday was a little more direct although we did stop at Arches National Park- now that Grammy is a Golden Eagle we can go to all of the Parks for free!
Lily enjoyed her first visit to Telluride and liked the gondola ride so much, she fell asleep about 10 minutes into it. She also proved to be quite the 'real food' eater and loves wheat hamburger buns, tomatoes, pancakes and french fries..
