Our Sat. started off with me 'running' my 1st 10k in awhile (over a year)- I achieved both my
goals #1 finishing, #2 not getting hurt. I also did it in under an hour which was a bonus. I'm convinced my performance was helped by my mobile cheering section of Tom, Lily & Jack. Still didn't win anything in the raffle, I never do..We spent the rest of the day just hanging out- Lily is becoming a proficient petter of Jack so she practiced that a bit, we went to the "Pets in the Pines" event at Wheeler Park and saw a ton of adorable dogs & cats up for adoption- we bought Jack some fancy treats, although Lily really wanted to bring home a friend for him. We pretended we were french for dinner and had a gourmet picnic in the woods behind our house- brie, bread, wine & cheez-its. Oh la la.
