It may be hard for some to see the positive sides of divorce but Tom and I consider Lily very lucky to have a Grammy, Gigi, Nana, Mimi, Grandpa, Pop-pop and Fitzy not to mention all of her cousins, aunts & uncles. She told me the other day she feels sorry for people that only have 2 sets of grandparents!Another 'plus' is all the moms that we have- so we'd like to thank all of our moms today- we love you all for your different and special roles in our lives and for taking such amazing care of us. We can only hope that Lily will feel the same way towards us as we do towards you. We love you! Even if your numbers make buying mother's day cards a pricey endeavor.
My first "official" mothers day was marked by a thoughtful present from Lily & Tom, a nice breakfast and some work... It struck me as I was making lunch for Tom who was watching golf on the couch, that I hadn't taken full advantage of the day.. Oh well, there is always next year! :)
